As a Business Development Manager, I am responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with IT influencers and decision-makers to sell IT staffing, as well as marketing consulting and project services for our Professional Services division. I work primarily in our Reno office but I also spend time with in our Seattle HQ.
My favorite thing about working at Wimmer is finding people jobs and helping them with their career aspirations. I also feel very fulfilled when I’m able to find the perfect candidate for clients that have a need and/or business problem that they are trying to solve.
Outside of work, I like to spend my time with family and my golf clubs 🙂
My advice for someone who wants to get into sales is network! Networking is key for someone going into this field. Your past experience can really help with how successful you can be in this field. If you are able to reflect on a diverse work background, the better you can relate to issues your clients might be dealing with.
